" Words become thoughts, and thoughts become things. Thoughts become things when they are given substance with the feelings of the mind. You may experience a fleeting thought such as, “I’m not good enough to be a professional athlete.” It is then up to you to either linger on the negativity of that thought, until it becomes a real insecurity, OR you can choose to combat it. Instead, say to yourself, “No, I am strong, fast, and gifted enough to be a professional athlete. If I am not right now, I will work hard to achieve that goal!”
The most important step you can take in changing your mindset for success is to evaluate what your mindset reflects today. You need to assess today’s reality so you can be intentional about your next steps. Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.
